I was raised in a religious home. At the age of 14 I became an atheist. Everything was fine till I took a philosophy class in college. What I could not figure out was if there was no ultimate reason for the universe, then why did I care about anything? But yet I did care. This question bothered me so much that I dropped out of college in order to devote more time to it. I decided that the source of my care about things did not come from the physical world and therefore came from outside of it, the "spiritual" world so to speak. My next 30 years have dedicated to developing an understanding of this discovery.
